Bet365 Nederland

Because of the regulation of the Dutch market, Bet365 is not available to Dutch clients. However, I now read in this forum that Holland is about to sell some licences to online operators. Do you have any idea if Bet365 is interested in getting one of them? This is a key sports book and it would be great to have Bet365 in Holland again.
Also, in case that we continue our lives with out Bet365, what are the alternatives? Are agents and brokers allowed to operate in Holland?
Thank you.

The KSA has stated a few months ago that they expect to receive about 130 applications for permits, but they didn't give out the names of the parties involved.

In the KOA legislation, there's no mention of brokers or agents. It simply states that any party that wants to facilitate casino/gambling/betting services can only do so legally by applying for and receiving a permit.

Unfortunately we'll have to wait for a little while longer before we can find out which bookmakers/brokers we can legally use in October..

There is one very important change in the gambling tax law, though. Currently, if you play with any sportsbook other than TOTO or Runnerz, you have to pay a tax of 30,1% over both winnings AND all the stakes you've placed in the last month. This means you almost always have to pay more in taxes than you've won(!)

This ridiculous law will finally change on October 1st: if you play with any party that holds a KSA permit, you won't have to pay any tax (the tax will be paid by the permit holder), if you play with any EU-based supplier, you won't have to pay any tax (because the bookmaker is expected to have paid the tax within the EU, meaning the Dutch government can't ask you to pay taxes again). If you play with a supplier from outside the EU, you'll have to pay your own taxes (at a rate of 29%), but based on your winnings in the last month (you won't have to add the stakes anymore, so the tax will finally be fair. High, yes.. but at least fair).
