I've been matched betting & value betting for quite some time now and have made decent profits, but recently I've moved into other profitable ventures like crypto day trading and been really enjoying it. I just want to stick solely to matched betting and 2 up offers with (Betsson, Betsafe, Bet365 & PaddyPower), it does not take much of my time at all, and then I have the time to focus on other stuff as well.
Before I wanted to stop the majority of all the betting, my goal was to smash the hell out of every bookmaker I could possibly get my hands and all their clones. I've been clearing at least 300 euros'/day for 20 days straight, and I definitely have some more bookmakers to go through, but I've running into an extremely annoying problem, and I was wondering if anybody had run into the same problem and has a solution.
My strategy is the following, sign up to a bookmaker or just any bookmaker where I have not been limited to yet, then I start up BetBurger and I wait to see a good arb atleast 10%+. The arb needs to be matched at another bookmaker where can I see how much I can wager for ex Pinnacle, Intertops and any other bookmakers which allows you to do that. After that I look at how much I can wager on for ex. Pinnacle&Intertops maximum and I try to match it with the new bookie sign most of the time you can bet how much you want for the first time if the market allows it. Today, I came across an arb 26% with a brand-new bookie so right away I check the prices and deposited to 1070 euros to my new bookie account to match it on pinnacle. Sadly, my new bookie account only accepted 455 euros... and I matched it on pinnacle with still a nice profit.
What happens next is my new bookie is limited straight away... which is fine I don't care... I am just in for the high arb profits to last as long as possible, and after I get out. But, there is still 615 euros that is left untouched and not wagered, and I can't wager it anymore as well since I am limited to €0.50 - €1.00 stakes. I tried to withdraw my funds, but they don't allow since I need to wager it at least once to prove that I'm not money laundering. But, how am I supposed to wager it if they limit me? Place 500-1000 arbs of penny's? Are they still allowed to hold your funds whilst your limited? Is there anything you can do in this situation? Are they in their right regarding their T&C? Holding your money whilst limting you.
Currently, I have several bookies in the same situation holding funds upwards of 2000 euro's. If nobody has a solution, I hope someone has. I only have 2 options left, either do thousands and thousands of arbs to get my money back which will be extremely... frustrating, and you also have to consider is it worth your time. The second option I would have is to play blackjack which has a 99,5% RTP but, it's still annoying since okay I made a nice profit of 130 euro from this arb alone but if I want to get as close as possible to the 99,5% rtp - I prob need to play with €1 euro stakes which will take some time and I could always lose more since variance plays a roll aswell. Just a very stressfull annoying situation, thinking about calling it quits with the profits I've made instead of taking more risk.
The reason I'm putting in big amounts of money straight away is because when you hit a big arb like 15-30%, you get limited straight away, so I like to hit it big and be done with it. Sometimes this goes very smoothly when they accept your full bet but ofc. this is not always the case.
