pokerstars currency issue

hi everyone ive got an issue with pokerstars at the moment,i made a deposit of 50 gbp to play on the slots i am fully aware that their currency in past play is us dollars as when playing poker that is the worldwide currency of play,so after making the deposit it is converted to us dollars and in the past i would then load a slot and play would be in us dollars fair enough,however a change has been made obviously another thing to comply to uk regulations when loading a slot or any casino game now is in gbp,my issue is because my deposit was exchanged to dollar and then back again to gbp when ive loaded the slot game my balance has now been decreased to 48.53 i spoke to live chat who couldnt really understand what i was trying to say they then said they would refer me to the right department and i would hear by email which i have but the response was just a generic email about exchange rates,now am i in the wrong hear surely if you deposit in gbp and you play a game in gbp you should expect the balance you deposited with i no its only 1.47 but to me its the principal what do you think?

The exchange rate when you deposit is usually quite much worse when you have dollar selected as your preferred currency.

So what you should do is select pounds to your preferred currency, deposit and the play the slots as usual. You can then convert them to dollars manually if you like to play poker or just let them convert it for you per play.
